Opening for Dine-In Service This Week

Downtown and the Vista

Unfortunately, 929 Kitchen & Bar, Bourbon and Black Rooster changed their plans to open for indoor dining this week due to the circumstances of COVID-19. Sean Kim of 929 Kitchen & Bar is very concerned for the health of staff and patrons and was waiting to see if virus cases rose or fell in South Carolina over last weekend (they rose) and Kristian Niemi of Bourbon and Black Rooster, also concerned about the health of his staff and according to a recent Facebook video he posted, decided against reopening for fear he’d have to close again (many restaurants have met this fate in recent weeks). But hang in there, folks, these restaurateurs are keen on getting back to “normal” and will keep their finger on the pulse of the health of our community when making decisions. 929 Kitchen continues to offer takeout and curbside service and is dependent on our loyal support. Bourbon and Black Rooster will begin some special events like tastings, farm dinners and make-at-home takeout.
