Lazy Creek Taphouse to Open Soon in Chapin!

Folks in the Chapin area have been limited in places to just hang out and share a craft beer… Nothin’ against the Tipsy Toad, or Zorba’s or Pompeii Oven but it can get pretty crowded on the weekends at those indoor places. So two friends, Dillon and Connor, decided that the timing was right for a new place… and so the Lazy Creek Taphouse is in the works and is set to open in mid – late October.

The building that previously housed the Freedom Farm Hay & Seed store at 306 St. Peters Church Road is being re-fitted for the new taproom. They will offer 12 – 16 taps and pour craft beer, ciders and wines. They are also planning a small retail store where customers can purchase 6 packs of craft beer and bottles of wine.

The large front porch will feature tables as well as a projector to show football games this season. The side yard will also have picnic tables, and games like Big Jenga, cornhole and horseshoes. Dogs on leashes will be welcome in this area.

The Lazy Creek Taphouse will also invite Food Trucks to serve hungry patrons, and they intend to have a rotation so different foods are offered throughout the week.

Live music will be offered as well. Trivia night, Teacher Appreciation Night and Military Appreciation Night are promotions that are in the works.

We’ll keep you posted when we get a firm opening date and a Facebook or IG page we can link.
