One of the most beautiful sights in the Midlands is the setting sun over the broad waters of sparkling Lake Murray. Golds, pinks, lilacs, blues and brilliant pure white sunlight perform magic as they dance together in the sky and then reflect in the softly lapping waters of the lake. An awesome vision, especially when seen from the decks of the Spirit of Lake Murray… have you ever treated yourself to a cruise?
Over the past decade, this magnificent boat has hosted over 10,000 people. Many have taken their first boat ride aboard her (probably not their last!) Many have been fascinated by the tales told of submerged towns, farms and churchyards when on a History Cruise; many have been mesmerized by
the sight of 100’s of thousands of birds swirling in the air above Bomb Island during a Purple Martin Cruise; and many more have fond memories of a personal nature aboard the Spirit – it may have been a wedding, a bar mitzvah, a family reunion or a retirement party.
This year, 2019, marks the 10th anniversary of the Spirit of Lake Murray. On Sunday, March 31, they are offering a Sunset Dinner Cruise to celebrate! Join the Coltons (Ken, Laura and son, Andrew) as they celebrate their success, the friendships they’ve forged over the years, and the dreams they share for the future of their venture.
