Here are some cooking classes in Columbia, July 2019! Would you like to become a better cook? Are you already very good, but are looking for ways to improve or try new dishes? Do you just love cooking classes?
The Food Academy
July 8, 2019 & July 22, 2019 :: The Food Academy offers cooking classes inside Lake Carolina in Northeast Columbia, and they describe these classes for adults as “fun, 100% hands-on cooking class allows you to learn basic techniques and try delectable recipes!” Sounds good! 2.5 hour classes begin at 6:30pm. Make your reservation on their website here.
Healthy Cooking Class :: SC Blue
Learn how to bring fresh, healthy ingredients together to create meals you can feel good about! The recipes provided are quick and easy. This month’s Healthy Cooking class will cover dinner. The class is free, but you need to register here. It’s held in Columbia at SC Blue office at 1260 Bower Parkway in the Harbison area.
Girls Pint Out :: Beer School
July 21, 2019 :: One of Girls Pint Out’s missions is to educate women about craft beer so they can better appreciate it. They team up with Flying Saucer in the Vista for a beer school once a month, which helps the gals to learn about each beer offered in that month’s flight. You will get a flight, a score sheet, instructions on tasting beer and info on each beer in your flight along with a little lesson about what they are focusing on that month. This is always a free class (except the cost of your flight which you will get when you arrive), but please get yourself a free ticket to let us know how many to set up for. Free tickets are on Eventbrite here.
Healthy Hands Cooking :: Kids Cooking Classes in Columbia SC
There is a whole series of cooking classes and cooking day camps for kids at this place! Your child can learn so much about cooking, including Butterbean Cafe’s series of food prep for toddlers, day camps for older kids, and healthy cooking classes for college-bound students. There’s even a Stress-Relieving Class for adults (probably for the parents of all these kids!) You can register for class, or learn more about each one on their website.
